WARRANTY POLICY

WARRANTY COVERAGE
  • Subject to the following limitations, terms, and conditions, BEGASSO SG TEAM warrants for the owner the frameset including body frame to be free from manufacturing defect.
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear items including moving parts and consumables such as and not limited to tyres, tubes, chains, brake set, gearwheels, cables, etc which are subject to varying wear life depending on use, load, weather, road conditions etc.
  • Paint and aesthetic stickers are not covered in this warranty.

    (*) Premature wear or defect will be taken into account in any claim involving a wear item.

     

    WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD

    • 24 months since the date of ownership
    • Non-extendable
    • Non-transferrable

    WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID FOR
    • Bike which presents the BEGASSO Authenticity Label (QC label) intact on body frame.
    • Bike that is bought from authorized BEGASSO website begasso.sg and E-commerce platforms verified Official Store (BEGASSO SG TEAM).
    • All bikes purchased from unverified sources will STRICTLY not be attended.

    WARRANTY MAY BECOME VOID IF
    • The bike that has been modified either non-technically or technically or both where the modification may impair the original specification and purpose.
    • The bike has been ridden with abnormal condition, in a competition and/or commercial activities and/or other purposes where the original purpose of the bike is not met.
    • There is damage due to incompetence of not following the owner's manual.
    • There is a usage of components that do not meet technical and safety standards for bike riding.
    • The bike is an ex-prototype or ex-refurbished bike, or was purchased during clearance or promotional price.
    • The damage is caused by accident, force majeure, and natural disaster (i.e. flood, fire, earthquake).

    SUBMITTING WARRANTY CLAIM GUIDELINES

     a). Official Warranty Label. 
    b). Picture(s) of defective part(s).
    • The defective part(s) and bike may need to be sent to local shop when necessary at the owner's responsibility.
    • The final decision of every warranty claim is taken under BEGASSO SG TEAM discretion.

    LIMITATION OF WARRANTY

    • Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty, or any implied warranty, is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of BEGASSO SG TEAM.
    • This warranty is unextendable from the date of purchase.
    • In no event shall BEGASSO SG TEAM should be responsible for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory.
    • When a warranty case is accepted and processed, the removal, assembly and tuning requirements of any components or frames is borne by the owner.
    • Labour charges for part replacement or changeover.
    • Any costs/inconvenience caused by the loss of use of the bicycle/components while the warranty process takes place is not covered by BEGASSO SG TEAM.
    • Claims made outside the country of original purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions. Warranty duration and detail may vary by country. The English version of the warranty shall prevail.
